DR. OBUSEH RAPHAEL, PH.D.
Dr. Obuseh Raphael, Ph.D., MCIPSMN, AMNIM
Dr. Obuseh Raphael is a distinguished academic, researcher, administrator, and entrepreneur who serves as Chief Lecturer and Head of the Department of Procurement and Supply Chain Management at the Federal Polytechnic, Nekede, Owerri, Nigeria. With over two decades of experience in higher education, he has made significant contributions to teaching, research, academic leadership, and the advancement of procurement and supply chain management.
He holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration (Production/Operations Management) from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. His research interests include Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Logistics, Inventory Control, Artificial Intelligence in Supply Chains, and Sustainable Development. He is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply Management of Nigeria (CIPSMN) and an Associate Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM).
Dr. Obuseh has held several strategic leadership positions and has authored numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and eleven textbooks in procurement, operations, and materials management. A three-time recipient of the TETFund Institutional-Based Research (IBR) Grant, he is widely recognised for his impactful research and scholarly contributions.
As a member of the Editorial Board of the SBMT International Journal, Dr. Obuseh brings extensive expertise in research, academic publishing, and institutional leadership, supporting the journal's commitment to advancing high-quality scholarship in business, management, technology, and sustainable development.
